Yes, afaik the GOG version is the Anniversary, which makes it incompatible for this mod.
Even the Steam version, I'm not really sure if it's compatible on its downgraded to Gold version...
Hopefully, NeoX can enlight ...

Maybe you can share your save here?
Maybe someone can take a look at it with another set of eyes and find what's wrong?
Altough, DotP is bugged af and without the community patch applied, things can get weird or even game-ending broken...
