Stuck at Icewastes of Shalibar

Hi, I'm stuck in Icewastes of Shalibar and I suppose I'll have to restart the game ... I always used the same quicksave .. and the autosave wasn't better ... I tried redoing the map starting from it but nothing changed ...

The situation is this, I cleaned entirely the (reachable) area, different times..., the gate is still closed, there is no mission pointer on the map anymore, and there is no one who I can speak with ...
So, first question, is there something I could do to proceed ?

I'm not sure if could be related but I see that there's a community patch in this site, and I'm wondering if it's still required / works in the GOG version of the game.

By the way, the patch seems to be reachable only by direct link viewtopic.php?t=170
If I go here manually it's not listed "SpellForce > ForumSpellForce - English > ForumSpellForce 2 > SpellForce 2 - Technical Support"

What does your quest-log say? Not that one enemy has not been defeated or is stuck somewhere.
But i do recommend to install the community patch start over again. Or you won't be able to finish the game anyway.
DotP is such a buggy mess, its a miracle to run it at all.

Even the initial menu is bugged, sometimes the buttons are under the background graphic ...
I just wanted to finish the game because I love the serie ... it's still more similar to the first trilogy (still the best) than SF3 ... also I actually liked the idea to use a flying dragon, even if very limited.

The Log of the quest says this:

Act: The Guardian of time
Goal: Free Kerona the guardian of time from her prison
Description: Kerona, the guardian of time was imprisoned somewhere in the icewastes of shalibar. With the crystal key you can now set her free so she can face Zazhut and save all of Eo.

Maybe you can share your save here?
Maybe someone can take a look at it with another set of eyes and find what's wrong?
Altough, DotP is bugged af and without the community patch applied, things can get weird or even game-ending broken...

Added the save file.

In the mean time I'll install the patch, but I'll wait a bit before restarting the game ... I see I was almost 30 hours in it, I'm not so happy thinking to repeat everything ... anyway looking at the good things about the game, at least I still could start with a different skill set to make the experience a little fresh ...

Before I only reported the quest state, now I had also a look at the "Log".

The last useful logged thing is the dialog when reaching the Norcaine camp that's under attack, the Archon says that my group was helping them with another Norcaine and a dragon.
Then the Journey stone at the Norcaine camp was activated.

I see that the camp has resources around but I can't interact with it, I have no options to build anything.

Then the "Mainland" and "Base" Journey stones were activated, but all the rest are gold logs.

Also in the previous post I was actually referring to the "Base" journey stone.

Maybe I have found when the issue happened right at the beginning of this play video ...

The player has 0 resources, then an event happen and after that it has 500 of every resources, when he reaches the camp he is able to build stuff.

I have never seen that spoken scene, and I still have 0 resources even after reaching the camp ...

Yepp you got a trigger-flag bug and that is already saved into your save file(s). Only a restart can "work around" this.
Sry i don't have better news for you.
