Why do they use like 10 different model types. Looks like they were in the middle of a process to find the right way to save models and finally for Battleforge they found their way

it was the age where old and new technolegys did swap and blend over. So yeah not quite surprised there.

I already made it work
If there's ever need to create new objects from scratch for Spellforce 2 within blender, hit me up. Someone can surely adapt my Plugin.
I don't have the time for that now, full focus on Battleforge Plugin

That's my plugin. I made a separate Branch for Spellforce 2 called Spellforce. It's a work in progress, but you can load most models in Blender. Like I said, my main focus is on Battleforge right now.

Awesome stuff, tested right now on some Beast Buildings and Blade Spellbreaker model.
Thank you very much for your work.
Question - is there a way to join CDspMeshFile parts into 1 model for SF2 during import?
I'm messing with backporting stuff to SF1, and figure models required to be one piece here.
I can join meshes into one, but totally not sure if animation will survive this transformation unscathed.
Building models are just fine, they can be safely joined.
Thanks again for your hard work!
