hi,
jpt mert20 wrote: Fri 8. Mar 2024, 20:55 Hello, I recently installed the patch (version 1.8) because in the vanilla version I had the missing health bar error. But with the patch when I launch the game the mouse arrow isn't pointing as it should (you need to be way higher to select anything) I've read in another thread someone had the same error but couldn't find a solution. I have 1.8 and open as admin the game. Anyone know how to fix this?
What settings did you use as a base configuration of the mod in the setup? Also are you sure you start the new desktop shortcut directly as an admin (right click - > run as administrator) and not just double click?

Screenshots of your configuration would help (see manual -> gear icon on the start-splash-logo).

i can assure you it does work on steam if you would read the manual (page 18-19) and follow it steps regarding the steam integration.
Let me attach it here for you once more, since you do not seem to find it.

the spellforce.exe patch to vulkan api (for healthbar fixes) gives me a crash when clicking options ingame, im using the german gog version with 1080gtx graphics cards (using the normal .exe patch to 1.54 works fine)

please update your GPU driver. Seems yours is way outdated.
Also make sure to start the new game-shortcut at your desktop directly with admin permissions.

Fixed an issue where starting the mod or game after installation of the mod kept giving the error , directx 9 or higher is required. Installing Directx 9 was not an option because it was not compatible with Win10. Turned out Norton was blocking the mod from installing correctly. Completely turning of Norton fixed the issue.

Hello and greetings!

I have the strange problem that my mouse pointer is "displaced" in the game. This means that I can't click directly on the menu or on things because the mouse pointer is not over the buttons, but a few centimeters above them.

Is this known, or is there a fix for this?

Best regards and have a nice evening!

Now it gets weird: If I select "Force desktop resolutions to settings" in the settings and enter my screen resolution at the top (3440x1440), the mouse pointer is more or less accurate, but the menus are cut off at the bottom of the game.

Can you please make sure you started the mod-exe directly with admin permissins (see manual)?
Sounds like bad mouse capture.

What version of the Mod are you using? Also make sure if you force the desktop resulotion to be in line with the ingame resolution, that you give it a little 5px oversize to the edges (see manual). Also please make sure to run the mod-exe with explizit admin permissions, or it can result in these render issues.
