Did you try to start it via the new start exe/shortcut at the desktop? Or have you applied the steam integration guide?
Could you provide the install log of the setup please?
Greetings: NeoX
I did start it with the new start exe/shortcut. I have not tried the steam integration guide yet, will do so.
Is it the d39d log? I'll attach it.
Thank you a lot for the help!
E: With the steam integration, the HD patch start splash is just looping and the game not starting
i meant the activity log of the setup of the mod-patch.
After installation you can simply click "back" and copy & paste the log out of the box.
Oh and can you provide me a savegame where you have this issue?
Greetings: NeoX

Alright thanks for that. I tested it at my end and all is fine (with your savegame).

After installing 1.8 mod I have troubles with mouse position... It's not were it should be, so game is unplayable ... cursor is like moved up and left so you can't even choose options in main menu ... I've also tried 1.0 version and it's the same.... have no idea how to fix this...

If someone else have same problem... found how to fix it... Mod installer didn't detect my screen resolution correctly, so I've manually edited SFHR_config.dat file with my correct screen resolution. That also fixed mouse cursor position.

The Setup detects the real applied desktop resolution at the time of the installation. If there is a difference, its mostly related for having Upscaling/zoom activated in the desktop settings. Setting these back to 100% should normaly solve it.

Hi
Thansk again. I got it to work in the meantime!
The final culprit was the extended UI mod. It also prevents health bars from showing.
I have another issue though: Ever ytiem I enter the options my game freezes and crashes. I have searched aroudn, but found no working splution so far.
For now my settings seem to be ok, but I want to change the difficulty to hard. So either I manage to access the options or I'll add a line to teh config.lua
Which lien would I need to add for hard difficulty? or is there a fix for the options menu?
Thanks again :)!

Thats sadly normal when you have values applied to the game that are outside the normal game code range. Manualy edition the config.lua is sadly the only option.

Do you know what I need to edit, as I have no idea what to edit?
Could you maybe provide me a config file with the correct difficulty setting. Would apreciate a lot.
