Alright thanks for that. I tested it at my end and all is fine (with your savegame).

I have an AMD Sapphire RX7900XTX at driver version 25.8.1. Whats yours? It all work fine out of the box.
Do you have any other mods applied?

Hi
Thansk again. I got it to work in the meantime!
The final culprit was the extended UI mod. It also prevents health bars from showing.
I have another issue though: Ever ytiem I enter the options my game freezes and crashes. I have searched aroudn, but found no working splution so far.
For now my settings seem to be ok, but I want to change the difficulty to hard. So either I manage to access the options or I'll add a line to teh config.lua
Which lien would I need to add for hard difficulty? or is there a fix for the options menu?
Thanks again :)!
Thats sadly normal when you have values applied to the game that are outside the normal game code range. Manualy edition the config.lua is sadly the only option.

it seems like the extended ui mod is incompatible with your high res mod i keep getting acess violations and i dont use anti virus and added exemptions to windows av aswell as tried anything i could think of only thing that worked was to remove the extendedui mod and it stopped crashing i did however not test the ui mod without your high res mod so it might be that the ui mod is just broken
i had consistant crashes everytime i used a aura with the extended ui mod and none without it

well you will have this issue if you apply the "Healthbar fix" in the setup of the mod. This will convert the game to the Vulkan API and no loner run on DirectX. The UI-Mod seems to be DirectX only and is not compatible with the Vulkan version of the game.

aha i forgot to check the forum and finished the game without the mod but good to know that is the issue if anyone else is having issues with it
i tested a bit more actually and even without your mod and just the ui mod the game won't launch so there is something with windows 11 and access violations that does not like these older mods

I can't seem to get this to not be in windowed mode. I have it set to be fullscreen but it's not. I'm on the GOG version of platinum if that matters.
Nevermind! I forgot to run as admin

When I start the game trying to apply the health bar fix it says I don't have Directx 9 installed. I tried installing it and still doesn't start. Any help? I can't find the recommended version of 537.54 from a reputable source if that is the issue. I thought vulkan was installed with the nvidia drivers and that's what the health bar fix uses, so why doesn't it work?

The healthbar fix does turn the game into a Vulkan API game. So i don't think it does require DirectX 9 anymore. Are you sure you have no other mods on the game that may conflict with each other?

I'm using revisited too. That's the only other mod

please check if there are any ".asi" mod files in the games installation directory. Some of them can be DirectX 9 related (mostly Ui mods).

Hello,
This doesn't work, I try and install and try ticking any of the options several times with different combinations but the game just opens in a window the size of 1080p on my 4k screen.
If I try the fullscreen option, it opens but is blurry and mouse doesn't align correctly.
I try and play in config.lua but changing there doesn't seem to make a difference.
I'm on windows 10, nvidia GPU 4080

Ok, nvm, fixed, there is a "SFHR_config.dat" in the game install that you can change to your correct resolution.
Pls mention this in the main post with red or something, this was very confusing to figure out.
