No, unfortunately, the installer cannot detect games.Unfortunately, I can't transfer the game to another disk. As if the installer doesn't simply jump to the folder containing the game,

Could you please copy & paste the log of the patch after the scan run trough, here?
Would help me a lot to find the issue.
It would also help if you could tell me some details about your system and if you use a Microsoft cloud account or use Onedrive.

I think he meant to start the game-exe directly in your steam installation folder. Not the hardware patch.Steam surpresses error messages on startup, thats why you have to start the game exe directly and not in steam.

This sounds a little like permission issue. Would you please reapply the hardware patch but with extanded logging activated (see manual) and post the install-log of it here?

Always fails, is admin, is even in spellforce folder. Deactivated my antivirus and everything. Extended logging active, every time it fails it gives these exact errors:
