Trying some modding, could do with some help

Hello everyone! :)

So currently I am using the awesome Data Editor by Bapt890, with the intention to create basically cheat spells that will allow one to summon any RTS unit in the game (even including the non-playable factions units).

I was able to successfully create some spells, and even have them show up ingame, but when I cast the spell, the cast animation does its thing, but nothing is summoned, the spell goes on cooldown as if it was successful so I know that the spell is "firing", but is just not summoning the unit.

I know the tool was made for use with Demons of the Past, but Bapt had stated that just editing and pasting in the "base" and "addon1" folders would mean I could still have the mods work with Anniversery Edition (which I have currently installed on GOG and the Hardware Patch compiled by NeoX applied)

Any help would be appreciated.

nice job! Maybe want to add some example pictures of your mod in use for others to see what awaits them?

Also if you give more details about your mod like a feature list and change log, we can add it to the community modding section on the main site:
